"...and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than sould can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)"

Lime in January at White With 1! :)

This month the challenge at White With 1 is White + Lime + Buttons. :) I was pretty excited because I've been waiting for the perfect challenge for the picture of my cousin Dan's college graduation, and this was it! His favorite color is lime green, so I thought, why not?! :D Here's the page I came up with:
I'm pretty thrilled with the outcome!!! The title says "Dan, Dan the graduation man!" because throughout his life we've always called him "Dan, Dan the ...whatever... man!" :) I used a plain white sheet cardstock, and then painted some bubble wrap with green paint and laid it on the paper!!!! I'm so excited! I don't have any scrapbooking mists or paints (they're on my wish-list, though), so I've been looking for ways to recreate texture without them. I think this worked out pretty well. :) I've been saving the program, and so I cut out the TVCC seal that was on the front, & the commencement title, & then cut his name out from where it appeared in the program and glued it over his picture with some lime rhinestones on the sides. I wish I could put up some close ups, but something's up with my uploader here on blogger. : / Anyways, I have four buttons on the page to fulfill the button requirement, which I threaded through with lime sewing floss and glued down to emphasize the corners of the page. :) So, I hope you liked it! Thanks for stopping by.
