My very first combo challenge: Bird is the Word & Once Upon a Sketch!

I've never done a challenge for more than one challenge, and I'm a tad nervous about it. :) But I really, really thought my idea was perfect for both challenges, and I just couldn't pick! So, I'm fulfilling the word "Remember" for Bird is the Word, and the journaling criteria and sketch for Once Upon a Sketch! Here is the sketch from OUAS:

I chose to scrapbook about my favorite memory from 2011, which was our family vacation to Galveston! We had such an amazing time! So here is my page:
For some reason Blogger won't center my picture... Sorry! :) So the title is "I will always remember", and the journaling says "When I look back on 2011, my favorite memory is the vacation we took as a family to Galveston. It was the most amazing time spent together, and I will never forget it." I really like the way this page came together, and I enjoyed using the postcards and pamphlets I have been saving. :) And of course, the ever present glitter and glitter flowers. :) I hope you like this page as much as I do!
